Lead Testing
XRF
XRF Testing is required by Local Law 31. One accurate way of lead paint testing is X-Ray Fluorescence or XRF. Results can be provided as soon as possible and include a detailed report and sketch. By using XRF to test your home, you can be sure there is no lead paint hiding on any surfaces.
Dust Wipe Testing
Dust Wipe Testing is a common form of Lead Paint Testing. It is standard practice in NYC to perform dust wipe testing after lead abatement work has been completed. This is to ensure lead dust is not left behind on any surfaces and helps prevent children and adults from lead paint dust exposure.
Water Sampling for Lead
One of the most common causes of lead poisoning in children is from contaminated drinking water. Old pipes connecting to kitchen sinks can cause lead to seep into the drinking water. PMS can test your water to ensure the safety of you and your family.
Paint Chip Sampling
